What are the dates of the tour?

The camp tours begin the afternoon of Monday, September 9th until the evening of Wednesday, September 11th. More travel details are provided below, but we recommend that attendees plan for the entire trip to be from September 9th-12th.

How will travel work?

For those who will be flying to the fall tour, please plan on flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport. Please plan your arrival before 12:30 pm on Monday, September 9th. The bus will depart the airport at 1:00 pm to ensure we arrive at the hotel with enough time for check in before our first camp tour.

If you plan on driving your own car and meeting everyone at the hotel, please plan on meeting everyone at McLemore, 32 Clubhouse Lane, Rising Fawn, GA 30738. Please plan on arriving at the hotel no later than 3:30 pm EST.

We’ll have a charter bus to transport attendees throughout the trip. While most camps are relatively close, we will have one camp on the tour a little over an hour away. We know that some attendees may opt to travel on their own by car.

On Thursday, September 12 the bus will leave McLemore at 8:30 am EST and arrive at the Atlanta Airport around 11:00 am EST. Plan your return flight no earlier than 12:30 pm EST on Thursday.

What about the food?

Alabama is known for our Southern Hospitality and we plan to feed you well. Each camp on the tour will be providing a meal and we will end with an open bar and buffet-style dinner back at McLemore.

Those with dietary needs will have an opportunity to communicate that info with the tour planning team.
