Spaces To Support Social & Emotional Learning

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) of campers is core to camp–campers leave changed, grown, better. The physical spaces of camp can impact social and emotional learning in both positive and negative ways. This session will cover the research on the relationships between built spaces and emotional impacts on people and describe multiple strategies to create spaces that positively support social and emotional learning.
